Grab your swimmers and head for a refreshing dip on Christmas Eve at Arundel Lido. A great way to kick start the Christmas weekend. Afterwards why not pop into Arundel and check out the Christmas trees illuminating the high street and the traditional tall Christmas tree standing firm in the market square. Booking essential.
Christmas at Cowdray - on until the 31 December 2022 This year Cowdray is putting on a spectacular walking trail where you can enjoy a series of festive illuminations inspired by peace and tranquillity and the beautiful natural surroundings. You can even book to meet Father Christmas at the end! This is the perfect way to feel festive.
Walking with the Snowman at Winkworth Arboretum - on until the 2nd January 2022 Relive the magic of Raymond Briggs’ classic book The Snowman. Walk through the wintery woodland at Winkworth and spot 12 decorated Snowman sculptures tucked into the trees, each with a different hand painted pattern inspired by the traditional Christmas song, the 12 Days of Christmas. Carousel rides, games and warming hot chocolate add to the festive fun.
Dirty Santa Mountain Bike Ride - 10 and 11 December 2022 Head out into the Surrey Hills on some superb winter trails for a pre-Christmas muddy blast. With the option of biking either 45km or 34km, there is a distance for everyone. To add to the festive spirit make sure you stop by the feed station handing out mince pies! Booking is essential. Queen Elizabeth Country Park, The Snowman and The Snowdog - 26 November 2022 – 2 January 2023 It is time to don your hat, scarf and gloves and relive the magic of this enchanting story as you explore Queen Elizabeth Country Park at its wintry best. Keep the little ones busy by completing themed activities on your winter wonderland walk or bike.
